Implant-supported prosthetics is a modern and in-demand prosthetic technique that involves making and placing artificial teeth on an implant to replace lost ones.

This dental procedure makes it possible to solve the problem of lost teeth, get rid of discomfort and restore an attractive smile after losing one or more teeth due to injury or illness.

Implant-supported dental prosthetics can be used by:

  • those who are missing one or more teeth;
  • those with complete or partial absence of teeth (edentulism);
  • those whose end teeth in the row are missing;
  • those who, for whatever reason, cannot wear conventional dentures.

Prosthetics using implants come in two types of construction:

  • removable;
  • fixed.

In the first case a conditionally removable structure is installed — that is, a prosthesis based on 4-6 implants, fixed with individual special attachments.

In the second case a fixed structure is installed, based on 6 or more implants, on which crowns are placed.

Both types of implant-supported prosthetics maintain a natural look, do not affect diction or pronunciation, and fully preserve the functions of the teeth.

Vishnyak Dental Clinic has extensive experience in implant-supported prosthetics. It employs highly skilled prosthodontists who find an individual approach to each client and help choose the most suitable treatment path.
